Margarita Madness: Where to Get Your Local Drink On

While we think we should be drinking margaritas everyday during Summer, we know that’s more often than not unrealistic. Don’t worry we’ve still got you covered and have instead rounded up the best places, deals and drinks to enjoy on your next Margarita Monday or Taco Tuesday. Nothing says Summer in the South Bay like a strong margarita.

Where: Día de Campo is a local Mexican and seafood restaurant about a block from the Hermosa Beach Pier making it the perfect place to grab a couple of drinks before heading out to the bars.

What We’re Drinking: The drink menu has an array of beers and wines, but if you’re heading to Dia de Campo you go for the margaritas. Add an extra kick to yours with an add shot of any tequila or spice it up with some of Día de Campo’s in-house “Fire Agua”

Where: Find and stay true to your beach-city roots at American Junkie, a sports bar with a great view.

What We’re Drinking: Aside from the typical SoCal beach menu of wings, salads, pizza, and the grill, American Junkie also speaks USA through their beverage menu of California made whiskeys, bourbons, and wines, craft beers, and classic American cocktails- including margaritas. When: American Junkie has different daily deals for beach goers as well as a happy hour from 3pm - 7pm every Monday - Friday where beer, well drinks, and house wine are all $3, select appetizers are $5, and specialty cocktails are just $6.

Where: Enjoy the warm summer nights out on the patio of Palmilla Cocina y Tequila. A homestyle restaurant that offers Mexican inspired cuisine, Baja-style fish and refreshing drinks all steps away from the Strand.

What We’re Drinking: Hand-shaken margaritas ranging in taste, style, and tequila! Even their La Flacita (The Skinny) Margarita is something to cheers to. The mix of farmers market fresh ingredients and premium tequilas create the authentic taste that many Hermosa locals love.
